What's New
Clock and Track 1.1.3 is now available. Thanks for all of your
input. (To be safe, please back up your archives to a safe location
before upgrading and using. Note that although 1.0.10 archives can be
read by 1.1.3 the converse is not true.)
This release turned out to be a bit more than a minor release. The final 1.1 version now includes:
-
Better key entry for date, time, and numeric fields in the editor and
invoice generation dialogs. (Just press the + or - keys or shift+ and
shift-. The delete key will now also do the same thing as the CMD-D
menu accelerator.
-
Ability to consolidate detail and invoice summary reports with the new [sessionDescription] and [expenseDescription] tokens.
-
A batch facility for marking sessions or expenses as invoiced or not. Various people requested this facility for different reasons. Note that if you select all sessions (CMD-A) and some sessions have been invoiced and some have not when you type CMD-U (mark selection as uninvoiced) the selection will change to only that subset of the initial selection that was previously invoiced. This lets you quickly revert back to original state by typing CMD-I (mark selection as invoiced.) Changing the invoiced state of sessions and expenses updates the summary statistics for the client.
-
All of the previous features mentioned in the 1.1.Xb releases. Read the release notes for more information.
What's #%#!
Hopefully not too much in this release. :-}
-
Please note that RTF templates must have UNIX style newlines. Templates that have old style Macintosh newlines will cause Clock And Track problems. You can convert such templates to newline templates via the Convert Templates menu item under the Edit Menu.
-
A crasher has been fixed where renaming a generated invoice and then trying to reassociate it with the invoice item in the inspector caused Clock And Track to die.
-
[sessionDescription] and [expenseDescription] tokens are not described in the help. The Release notes talk a bit about them. Just use them as you would [description] token but only in the Invoice.rtf template.
-
Still no FAQ. Sorry.
-
Still long license codes. Sorry.
Again, thanks for purchasing a license! All 1.0.10 license holders can use the same license code for this version.
